Our Solution

The CorporatePay solution could transform the way you manage payments to your employees. It provides cost control capability combined with a convenient method of payment.

A Prepaid MasterCard® card

  • A Chip & PIN protected prepaid MasterCard card with global acceptance through 32 million merchants and 1 million ATM's which display the MasterCard Acceptance Mark.
  • A maximum balance of £10,000 per card with the flexibility to allocate specific amounts to each card from the administrators account.
  • The cards are available in multiple currencies including British Pounds, US Dollars and Euros to enable large corporations to issue the cards in multiple currencies and allow more efficient management of foreign currency expenses.
  • Issued by Newcastle Building Society which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, a Principal Member of MasterCard, and the largest MasterCard Prepaid Issuer in Europe.

An Account - Card Structure

  • Our clients are set up with an account which allows access to manage multiple cards which are linked via the account. Each account can allocate from 1 to 9,999 cards.
  • In addition to the 16 digit card number each card is allocated a unique 12 digit account (bottom left hand corner of the card) that allows for secure management and reporting without using the card number.
  • Multiple accounts can be established for large organisations to support project, departmental or divisional spend.
  • The ability for administrators to move funds in real-time between the account and linked cards allows allowances and budgets to be set as well as managed at an individual cardholder level. Additional funds can be allocated (or removed) to fit with specific operational requirements such as the need for emergency funds. Over payments or unused funds can be reclaimed from a specific card and then reallocated from the account to another card.

Account Access

  • Web user access levels are assigned based on the functionality that a particular user is required to have and can be customised according to an organisation's specific requirements.
  • Finance administration users have access to data from all cards, ability to move funds to and from cards, order new cards as well as being able to suspend / cancel cards. Dual control can also be implemented requiring funds movements to be authorised by a second user.
  • A reporting administration level can also be provided giving access to all data but without the rights to move funds.
  • Individual cardholders only have access to their own card data which can be accessed via the web site. Cardholders can also manage their cards via an IVR and SMS service including obtaining their current balance and most recent transactions. Call centre support is also available.

Data

  • Our service enables transaction data to be available to all card and account users. The data can be viewed via our online account management system either through reports or via each card. The data can also be exported to files to allow easy integration into existing expense management and finance systems.
  • An administrator can view the status of each card (requested, being printed, suspended, cancelled etc), the outstanding balance on each card as well as the outstanding balance for the account. Account transactions show the movements between the account and individual cards.
  • Administrators can also view detailed transaction information for each card.
  • An audit trail of all transactions is available.
  • Transactions can be blocked at inappropriate or "out of policy" merchant categories either for all cards in an account or an individual card.
  • When provided by the merchant we are able to provide full VAT data meaning that receipts are no longer required.
